We are excited to announce that we have revamped the packaging of our 1-gallon containers for HVIC and Silprocoat.
After reviewing the growing demand for these products, we have decided to transition to High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) containers. This change aligns with one of our primary goals: to provide an enhanced product experience for our customers.
Why switch to HDPE containers?
This new packaging isn’t just a material change; it’s a significant step forward to ensure that our industry-leading coatings arrive to you in optimal condition. HDPE is recognized for its superior durability, significantly reducing the risk of damage during shipping and handling.
Here’s what you can expect from the new packaging:
Better shipping: The HDPE container is robust, minimizing damage during shipping and ensuring your products arrive intact.
Increased product integrity: With a more secure seal, the risk of leaks and contamination is significantly reduced, maintaining the product’s high quality from our factory to your location.
Easier pouring: The new presentation design with a handle makes pouring and applying the coatings easier, providing a more comfortable and controlled experience.
The switch to HDPE containers reflects our ongoing commitment to optimizing the packaging process without compromising product safety or quality. The containers will be available individually or in sets of four, offering flexibility in order sizes and easier storage.
It’s important to note that this change only applies to the 1-gallon containers. The 5-gallon pails of Silprocoat and HVIC will remain in their current format for customers who prefer larger quantities.
According to the density of our coatings, you can estimate that 1 gallon is equivalent to 4,77Kg.
1-gallon presentation of HVIC (High Voltage Insulator Coating)
Midsun’s High Voltage Insulator Coating (HVIC), also known as silicone rubber coating, is engineered to protect electrical insulators from contamination and flashover. It is now available in 1-gallon HDPE containers and 5-gallon tin pails.
This high-performance coating ensures long-lasting protection for glass, ceramic and polymeric insulators, enhancing durability and operational reliability, especially in highly contaminated environments and places with extreme weather conditions.
1-gallon presentation of Siprocoat (Anticorrosive Coating)
Midsun’s Silprocoat is a silicone rubber coating designed to prevent corrosion in electrical metallic structures. It is now available in 1-gallon and 5-gallon presentations. This RTV coating provides durable protection against corrosion and can be customized to meet both practical and aesthetic requirements.
